I am a Biological Sciences student, scientific initiation fellow in the project "Breeding Biology of Pelecaniforms on an Estuarine Island in Southern Brazil". This project aims to determine the breeding phenology of the Pelecaniformes, as well as to investigate the anthropic influence through the supply of non-natural materials on the nests’ building. I am also experienced with research and environmental education during a volunteer period at ‘Núcleo de Monitoramento e Educação Ambiental’– NEMA, where I worked in the Project ‘Pinípedes do Sul’.
