MSc. student in Biological Oceanography, 2020

I am a marine biologist broadly interested in the ecology and conservation of aquatic birds and coastal-marine environments. While a bachelor student, I integrated different methods to study the breeding biology, feeding ecology, and local movements of American Oystercatchers (Haematopus palliatus) at an urbanized beach in southern Brazil. For my dissertation, I intend to investigate the ecological role of seabirds in transporting nutrients across food webs of tropical ecosystems, as well as the impact of invasive alien species on these environments.
